CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - One person was injured in an accident on Interstate 26 Tuesday evening, state Highway Patrol officials said.
According to officials, a woman was rear-ended when she tried to slow down for traffic congestion. The person behind her did not slow down and slammed into the back of her car.
Officials said the driver of the car that caused the accident checked on the woman and left the scene. The female driver was then take to Roper Hospital.
Highway Patrol officials think the woman's injuries were minor.
