1st grader suspended for singing 'I'm Sexy and I Know it'

AURORA, Colo. (AP) -- A first-grader was suspended for school for three days in Aurora, Colorado, after teachers say he walked up to a girl and sang the line "I'm sexy and I know it" from the popular song.

The teachers said according to their school's rule book, that qualified as sexual harassment--which reads as harassment having negative affects on the learning or work of others.

A Colorado psychologist said a six year old would never comprehend that, and added there was probably a better way to discuss what's appropriate and inappropriate.

The boy's mother said her son has seen the video and knows the lyrics to the popular song, and says she doesn't see this incident as sexual harassment.
