NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A pair of car accidents on Interstate 26 are leading to serious backups for motorists Monday afternoon.
According to the South Carolina Highway Patrol, the first accident involves an SUV leaving the interstate and heading into a wooded area.
The second incident involves a Dodge SUV and a motorcycle, officials said. One person was taken to Medical University Hospital.
Traffic is backed up on I-26 from the Ashley Phosphate exit to I-526. Traffic on I-526 is backed up to Clements Ferry Road.
