2 men charged in triple homicide
NORTH CHARLETSON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police charged two men on Sunday in connection with a triple shooting that took place outside of a North Charleston store.
Ronald Reid, 43, was arrested and charged with murder. Barry Stinson, 32, was arrested and charged with lynching by mob.
Police responded to a call on Saturday shortly before 4 p.m. at the Cycle Gear Store at 4400 Dorchester Road. Officials said an altercation took place inside the store and spilled out into the parking lot where shots were fired.
The Charleston County Coroner said Maurice Horry, 41, of Columbia, was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. Theodore Waymyers Jr., 36, of Summerville, and Carlos Davis, 39, of Columbia, were both pronounced dead at the hospital from gunshot wounds.
Police are still investigating the incident and officials say additional arrests are possible.
