CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Two incumbent congressmen face challenges in next month's primaries in South Carolina. But Republican Joe Wilson and Democrat Jim Clyburn have sizeable campaign war chests and neither appears to be in danger.

In all, there are five congressional primaries being decided June 10.

Wilson has almost $270,000 in the bank and faces Eddie McCain of Batesburg-Leesville in the 2nd District. There is also a Democratic primary in the district running from the Midlands southwest to the Aiken area.

Clyburn has almost $1.3 million in the bank and faces Karen Smith of Dorchester. There is also a GOP primary in the 6th District running along the Interstate 95 corridor and reaching into Charleston and Columbia.

There is also a Democratic primary in the 3rd District in the state's northwestern corner.
