2nd arrest made in Cooper Street armed robbery

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Police made a second arrest Friday connected to a burglary earlier in the week, officials announced Monday.{}

According to the Charleston Police Department, 35-year-old Sherrone Donell Carson, of North Charleston, was charged with armed robbery, first-degree burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

Carson is currently being housed at the Al Cannon Detention Center, police said.{}

According to police, the victim of the robbery was in his Cooper Street apartment when three black men armed with guns walked in and demanded money. The three men stole money and electronics before leaving the apartment.{}

Police are still investigating the incident.{}
