2nd arrest made in Myrtle Beach Memorial Day shootings

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WCIV/WPDE) -- A second suspect was arrested in connection with a shooting at the Fountainbleau Inn in Myrtle Beach on Memorial Day weekend.

?According to ABC affiliate WPDE?, 21-year-old Keyanna Pegram, of High Point, North Carolina, was arrested Saturday in Myrtle Beach. She's being held at the Myrtle Beach Jail without bond on an attempted murder charge, the station reported.

Another suspect, 41-year-old Cornelius Ray Woods, also of High Point, was arrested two weeks ago and charged with attempted murder, use of a firearm in a felony, and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.

Myrtle Beach police told WPDE that surveillance video from the shooting helped them identify the suspects. The video shows three people entering a hotel room. A man then backs out and is shot in the leg.

Police in High Point contacted investigators in Myrtle Beach and said the man who ran after the victim in the video was possibly Woods, according to local police.

Woods was on federal probation and not allowed to leave North Carolina. He's currently in the Guilford County Jail for an unrelated shooting in High Point.

The May 24 shooting at the Fountainbleau Inn was drug related, according to police.
