3rd man arrested for Christmas Eve killing

DARLINGTON, S.C. (AP) -- A third man has been arrested for the Christmas Eve killing of a Darlington man in his home.

Darlington police Sgt. Kim Nelson says 24-year-old Jonathan McCall of Darlington was arrested Sunday on charges of murder, attempted murder, armed robbery, and weapon possession.

McCall and two other suspects are accused of rushing into Antwain Jones' home about 8 p.m. last Monday intending to rob him. Darlington County Coroner Todd Hardee says Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police served arrest warrants Saturday on 21-year-old Reginald Smith. He was already in the Florence County jail on separate charges.

Police arrested 22-year-old Kiarand Bonaparte on Friday. They face the same charges.

Police are still searching for other suspects.
