CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Four juveniles were arrested Monday and charged with an armed robbery that happened a day earlier at an Ashley Avenue business in downtown Charleston.
The suspects' ages range from 13 to 15, police said.
According to a police release, three of the juveniles were charged with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. The fourth person was charged with armed robbery, police said.
All four teens are being held in the juvenile detention center, police said.
Police say the incident happened at Charleston Pizza Company around 11:30 p.m. when three of the teens robbed the business and an employee while the fourth teen acted as a lookout.
According to police, the same business was robbed in July by two black men armed with a rifle. Police have not yet connected the two robberies.
