      5 arrested in North Charleston drug bust

      NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Five people were arrested Wednesday in a North Charleston drug bust.

      According to police, the department's Narcotics Unit executed a search warrant at a Victory Avenue home and seized 68 grams of cocaine base, 1 gram of cocaine, 9 grams of marijuana, as well as items to package, manufacture and distribute the drugs.

      Officers also found several handguns, including a 9-millimeter handgun reportedly stolen in Summerville.

      A police report states that Antonio Law, Trevis Eady, Lanaroi Huger, Reginald Hamilton and Ebonee Middleton were arrested in the bust. All were charged with trafficking cocaine base, manufacturing cocaine base, possession of a firearm during the convention of a violent crime and possession of a stolen firearm, the report states.

      All five were booked into the Al Cannon Detention Center. Bond hearing are pending, police said.
