NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A parking deck at Charleston International Airport was briefly shut down Wednesday afternoon due to a suspicious package being found.
Officials at the airport said the garage had been shut down, but the rest of the airport was open and functioning.
A statement from the Charleston County Aviation Authority says the package was found around noon Wednesday. About 90 minutes later, bomb technicians determined the box was empty.
Flight Tracker shows that all flights in and out of Charleston International are still listed as being on time.
The garage was reopened shortly before 2 p.m.
