      Fuel removed from sunken vessel in Shem Creek

      MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- A vessel that sank in Shem Creek near Geechie Seafood Thursday morning is floating again and all the fuel is out, said officials with the{} United States Coast Guard.The Coast Guard contracted the removal of fuel and hazardous substances from the 45-foot vessel when the owner couldn't salvage it, officials said.Officials said they asked the owner to make permanent repairs or have it removed from the water.
