Alleged shoplifting trio being hit with more charges

WEST ASHLEY, S.C. (WCIV) - The three women accused of stealing hundreds of dollars of underwear from Mount Pleasant stores were implicated in another robber at Citadel Mall on the same day.

According to a Charleston Police Department report, officers were sent to the Victoria's Secret store in Citadel Mall to investigate a shoplifting incident that happened at 11:30 a.m. on Jan. 23.

An employee told police three black women hid 20 bras in large bags from other stores. The report states the employee did not realize what the women were doing until they were gone and an entire drawer of bras were missing.

The total value for the bras was $590, the report states.
