Andrew Pinckney Inn to undergo 'extensive' renovations

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A boutique hotel built in 1840 overlooking downtown Charleston's city market will undergo renovations later this month.{}

Renovations at the Andrew Pinckney Inn on Church Street will start sometime this month and conclude in February, hotel officials said.{}

Thirty-two guest rooms will be remodeled. Much of the focus will be in the bathrooms, management said. Each bathroom will feature floor-to-ceiling hand-laid Italian Travertine tile showers, granite countertops and other premium amenities.{}

Each of the rooms will also be repainted to brighten them and make them more "spa=like," management said.{}
