Arrest made in Orangeburg shooting

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- A Barnwell man was arrested Saturday in connection to a shooting a night earlier in Orangeburg County.According to Orangeburg County deputies, Joseph Maurice Holman was arrested after a search Saturday on Highway 321.{}Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said Holman and another man were involved in a traffic accident in which Holman did not stop, so the other man followed him. Bamberg County officials spotted Holman's car and called in Orangeburg deputies, telling them that Holman's car was on fire on a road off the highway.{}After a search, deputies found and arrested Holman, Ravenell said.{}He is expected to go through bond court at 2:30 p.m. Monday. Officials said the shooting victim is still being treated for his wounds.
