CAYCE, S.C. (AP) - AT&T is back in South Carolina, warning about the dangers of texting and driving.
Company representatives are making eight stops throughout the state this week with a simulator that lets visitors try to send a text while behind the wheel.
The tour kicks off Thursday with a visit to Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce. There are also trips planned to the University of South Carolina and Clemson University, as well as schools in Anderson, Orangeburg and Sumter.
The company has put on similar events at the North Carolina and South Carolina Legislatures.Copyright 2013 The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or redistributed.
