Attorney addresses human trafficking issue in South Carolina
COLUMBIA, S.C. (WCIV) - Attorney General Alan Wilson led the second meeting of the South Carolina Trafficking Task Force at his Columbia office on Friday.
"We don't have a clue this is going on and it's going on right underneath our noses and that's the scary part," said Wilson.
Others at the meeting Friday say they are just getting a grip on how large of a problem human trafficking is in the state.
"The big goal for this task force is to figure out, how do we identify these cases and how do we serve these victims cause it is everywhere," said Wilson.
