SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCIV) -- Berkeley County Water & Sanitation has lifted a boil water advisory for its customers in the Highland Avenue and Tabby Creek area of Sangaree.
Residents were asked to boil all water that is used for drinking, cooking, and making ice prior to use.
Officials said the water should be brought to a vigorous, rolling boil, and then boiled for an additional minute. Once pressure has been restored, BCWS workers will flush the mains and test water samples.
Residents in the area are asked to call (843) 572-4400 or visit www.bcwsa.com if they have additional questions or concerns.
