FLORENCE, S.C. (AP) - An autopsy has determined a woman whose remains were found in a remote area of Florence County was the victim of a homicide.
Florence County Coroner Keith Von Lutcken said Thursday it will take at least a few more days to determine the identity of the woman. He says she was killed by someone else, but did not say exactly how she was killed.
Authorities say the remains were found Wednesday morning at a riverside private hunting camp about five miles south of the U.S. Highway 76 bridge over the Great Pee Dee River.
