Body of missing Mount Pleasant man found
MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- The body of a man reported missing from Mount Pleasant was found Wednesday.
Charleston County sheriff's deputies were called to the area of Hamlin and Rifle Range roads in Mount Pleasant around 3 p.m. Wednesday. There, they found the body of Phillip Washington, 72.
Washington had been reported missing to the Charleston County Sheriff's Office Nov. 16, according to a spokesman for the office. The spokesman said a search of the area on that day turned up nothing.
"At this time foul play is not suspected, and the Charleston County detectives and the Charleston County Coroner's Office continue the investigation," said Maj. Jim Brady of the sheriff's office.
