Bomb threat made at Berkeley County courthouse
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- A bomb threat at the Berkeley County courthouse Thursday morning shut down the building and many roads surrounding it.
Officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office said the building had been evacuated after someone called dispatchers and said anyone who opened the courthouse doors would trigger a bomb.
The Charleston County Bomb Squad was called in to assist in the search for the device.
