CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- It's been more than three months since 5-year-old Allison Griffor was shot as she slept in her West Ashley bed.{} Police still have not made any arrests in the case.{} In attempt to lure tips, a Crime Stoppers reward was established.{} And now, the reward has gone up by $1,000.

Richard Douglas, a family friend of the Griffors, said a local businessman donated the money.{} He said the man wanted to remain anonymous.

Douglas, who is in constant contact with the family, said the holidays were especially hard for William, Allison's father.{} He was also injured when police say someone fired shots through the family's home on Pierpoint Avenue.

A Charleston County Sheriff's Office spokesman said the family didn't realize the 5-year-old was hurt when they called 911.{} She died three days later in the hospital.
