Casting Call: New pilot shooting in Charleston needs extras
CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Another television show will be shooting a pilot in the picturesque Holy City and the casting director is looking for extras.
The same company that hired actors for Army Wives and Reckless is now looking for local talent to hire for a new show called Identity.
The pilot will be shooting from mid-March until the beginning of April.
The show is described as centering around a woman named Mia, played by Ahna O'Reilly from The Help.
Mia is "a grounded, whip-smart but restless young New Yorker who finds her world upended when she learns she needs an organ transplant to survive. Desperate to find a donor Mia discovers that her only living relative is a brother she never knew existed. In the process of connecting with her long lost sibling she finds herself in the middle of a government investigation."
According to an article from Deadline.com, the sibling is a brother from a wealthy and powerful family in Charleston. That family turns out to be the target of a CIA investigation, and the agency wants Mia to be an informant.
The casting agency is looking for men, women and children of all ages and ethnicities.
