Charleston and Augusta rained out Sunday

AUGUSTA, GA (DOGS) -- The Charleston RiverDogs and the Augusta GreenJackets were rained out Sunday afternoon at Lake Olmstead Stadium in Augusta, Ga.

Augusta was leading 2-0 with two outs with the bases loaded in the bottom of the third inning when the rains came. The suspended game will resume Thursday, Aug. 1 starting at 5:35 p.m.

Following the conclusion of the suspended game, Charleston and Augusta will then play another seven inning game.

The RiverDogs now head home to open up a seven game homestand that welcomes both the Greenville Drive and the Augusta GreenJackets to The Joe.

Charleston has an off day Monday before starting with three games again the Drive.

On Tuesday, Charleston has yet to announce their starter and Greenville's starter is also TBD.
