Charleston attorney new SC Bar president
SULLIVAN'S ISLAND, S.C. (AP) -- Attorneys from across South Carolina are holding a meeting on Sullivan's Island.
The House of Delegates of the South Carolina Bar meets Thursday.
Following the meeting, Charleston attorney Alice Paylor is being sworn in as the new president of the Bar. She will be sworn in by state Chief Justice Jean Toal.
Attorney J. Calhoun Watson of Columbia becomes the Bar's president-elect.
