CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - A Charleston electronic design company is trying to make your morning reach for the snooze button a little easier.

Distil Union was started by Nate Justiss, Lindsay Windham, and Adam Printz earlier this year. 'Snooze' is their first product, and they were out on 2nd Sunday on King Sunday to promote it.

"We're just looking to get the word out locally. Few people know that there is even product design going on in Charleston," said Nate Justiss. "We have a lot of experience designing iPhone accessories and we are just doing it on our own finally. We just want the community to know and get their feedback."

Snooze lets you slide your iPhone into a slot as a nighttime clock or alarm. All you have to do is punch the giant, rubber snooze button on top.

"I use my iPhone as an alarm in the morning. What we were finding is that we often turn the alarm off instead of using snooze. So we wanted to make it really simple," said Justiss.

Justiss says they are trying to raise $50,000 through a website called Kickstarter to get their product on the market. They have currently raised $19,000, and the goal is the reach the target in three weeks.

You can visit their website to find out more about the product and how you can help.
