Charleston flights canceled for Hurricane Sandy

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV)More than 6,000 flights have been canceled across the United States in anticipation of Hurricane Sandy's strike. Right here at home, almost 60 flights have been canceled that were set to depart from Charleston International Airport.

Departure flights to Washington D.C., Baltimore, New York, Newark and Philadelphia have been canceled for Monday. To check if your flight from Charleston has been canceled, click here.

It's not just air travel that is feeling backlog from Hurricane{}Sandy. Charleston Amtrack officials confirm all train services northbound have been canceled for Monday. Officials say they do not know yet if train services will be canceled for Tuesday.
