Charleston park turns into playground for festival

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - Marion Square in Charleston is being turned into a giant playground for the 10th annual Fam Jam Festival.

The Saturday event is sponsored by the Children's Museum of the Lowcountry and this year's theme is "homegrown family fun with no sugar added."

Events include salsa dancing and kung fu lessons, along with a relay race, jump castles and a climbing wall.

Buses will transport children and their families from nearby schools at no charge.
