Charleston RiverDogs look to set kazoo record

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The Charleston RiverDogs are looking to get into the record books by creating the world's biggest kazoo ensemble.

Fans at Saturday's minor league game will be given kazoos made by Kazoobie Kazoos of Beaufort. After the final out of the game against the Rome Braves, everyone will join together in playing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame."

A statement from the RiverDogs says that the existing world record for a kazoo ensemble is the almost 5,200 people who performed together three years ago at England's Royal Albert Hall.
