CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) -- It's a big day for seniors at The Citadel.
After three years of military training, the seniors in the class of 2014 at the Charleston military school finally get their class rings on Friday.
The rings are presented in the afternoon. Then on Friday evening, the school holds its traditional ring ceremony where seniors escorting parents, siblings or significant others walk through a giant class ring to the applause of family, friends and classmates.
This weekend has a full slate of activities because it also is Parents Weekend at The Citadel.
