Coaches named for Medal of Honor Bowl

CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - The coaches have been named for the Medal of Honor college all-star game in Charleston.

Former Maryland coach Ralph Friedgen and former Georgia Tech and Buffalo coach Chan Gailey have been named to coach the teams in the Jan. 11 contest.

The game at The Citadel's Johnson-Hagood Stadium will feature senior college football players who hope to get a shot at playing professional football.

Funds from the game will go to help the Medal of Honor Museum and Wounded Warriors Project among other organizations.

A second college all-star game, The College All-Star Bowl will be held Feb. 14 at Furman University's Paladin Stadium.
