MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Cooper River Bridge Run is just a few days away.
Whether you're planning to run in the race, cheer on family and friends, or just wondering how you will be able to navigate around the area, you'll want to know what roads will be open and when.
Here's a list of road closures in Mount Pleasant for Saturday morning.
5:45 a.m. - Closure of Coleman Blvd. (from Whilden to Simmons @ starting line area)
6:15 a.m. - Pedestrian lane closed southbound
6:30 a.m. - Closure of Coleman Blvd. (from Chuck Dawley to Simmons @ staging area)
7:00 a.m. - Coleman Blvd Completely closed from Chuck Dawley to Ravenel Bridge (Ravenel Bridge closed on both directions)
7:30 a.m. - Wheelchair race and busses stop
8:00 a.m. - Main Race begins (staggered starts every 3 minutes for approximately 40 minutes)
10:00 a.m. - Portions of Coleman reopen as safety allows
10:00 a.m. - Expect diversions around Simmons St. as starting line is removed and expect congestion on Chuck Dawley as busses continue to bring back participants
10:30 a.m. - Contingent time of opening Ravenel Bridge both directions as personnel clears (subject to change)
1:00 p.m. - Chuck Dawley should return to normal, final personnel released
