Coroner: Inmate death investigation pending toxicology results
MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WCIV) -- Berkeley County Coroner Bill Salisbury has released an update in the death of Hill Finklea Detention Center inmate Jason Stout.
Jason Stout, 32, was found dead in his bunk on May 9 around 10:30 a.m.
The coroner says no trauma was found on his body and foul play is not suspected.
"It takes several weeks for toxicology results to return and more information will be made available when the final autopsy report is received," Salisbury said.
Stout was incarcerated for family court bench warrants.
