CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston Police Department spokesman Charles Francis says traffic on the Marley Lion tip line has been moderate.
Investigators have received tips on the identity of the shooter and are currently investigating that information.
Saturday marks three weeks since the 17-year-old was shot in the head and killed in his car in West Ashley. Lion was pulled over in a parking lot to sleep when the incident occurred. Investigators, friends and family members of Lion say he pulled over because he was too intoxicated to drive.
The Marley Lion Fund was created last Saturday to aid the search, and anyone with tips on the shooter is asked to call or text a special cell phone line for the investigation at 843-607-6787.
