CPD: Missing woman found safe in Tennessee


CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A woman believed missing since Nov. 22 was found safe in Tennessee, Charleston police said Friday evening.

Moira Carr, 38, was last seen at the Barnes & Noble parking lot on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard on Friday, Nov. 22. She was reportedly there between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. seated in her silver 2001 Nissan Sentra. W

itnesses said she was on her phone.

Carr has brown eyes but was last seen wearing large sunglasses with white frames. She has also recently dyed her hair dark red. She is about 5'03 tall and weighs approximately 111 pounds.

Police say Carr had just left work at Mad Science on Wappoo Road to cash a check.

There are no known medical issues or required medications she needs. Her phone is a work-issued phone which she hasn't been using, police said.

Officials say she has no close family connections.{}
