NCFD: Two people displaced after trailer fire

NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Two people were displaced after a trailer fire Friday night, said officials with the North Charleston Fire Department.

Officials said the fire started around 8:30 p.m. in the 2600 block of Carter Road.

When the first firefighters responded, the trailer was engulfed in flames and smoke, officials said. It took more than 10 minutes to get the fire under control.

Two people escaped the fire unharmed but one dog died in the blaze, officials said.

Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
