CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Crisis Ministries got a big bump in donations and will use the funds to support their Homeless Health Clinic.

The $30,000 donation came from the TD Bank's Charitable Foundation.

The Homeless Health Clinic provides healthcare to the homeless including medical screenings, lab work, prescription assistance and psychiatric services.

"When people arrive at our door, we immediately provide them with food and shelter. These are basic necessities, and so is proper healthcare," said Stacey Denaux, CEO of Crisis Ministries. "Access to healthcare is critical in our fight to end homelessness. We are grateful for the TD Charitable Foundation's investment in our clinic and its commitment to helping homeless individuals in our community."

Crisis Ministries officials said the clinic will see at least 500 homeless people and provide about 1,400 medical services this year.
