Report: Murder suspect boarded school bus with gun

DORCHESTER, S.C. (WCIV) -- A man wanted in connection to the shooting death of another man last week, boarded a school bus in Dorchester County with a gun, according to details in an incident report from the sheriff's office.

According to Dorchester County Sheriff's deputies,{}Stevie Elmore shot and killed{}31-year-old Mark Anthony Daniel Sr., of St. George.{}

The shooting happened on a Dorchester District 4 bus route headed to Woodland High School and several students on board saw the shooting victim's body, the report states.

The bus driver, Elmore's mother, stopped near the scene of the shooting to pick up another student and Elmore boarded the bus, according to the report. Deputies say Elmore had a quick conversation with his mom then exited the bus.{}

After dropping the students off at school, the driver went back to the scene of the shooting since her son was involved, the report states.
