CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Dense fog greeted morning drivers on the Lowcountry's highways Tuesday morning. In some areas, visibility was less than a quarter mile.

So far, there have only been a handful of accidents reported and back-ups as a result of them are minimal. For traffic problems in your area, click here.

The National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory until 10 a.m.

Once the fog clears, the Charleston area can expect another pleasant, warmer-than-normal day with highs in the mid-70s.

Clouds will return Wednesday and bring with them a chance for late-day showers and possible thunderstorms.
