Deputies ask for tips in shooting investigation

GEORGETOWN COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) -- The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public after finding evidence of a shooting Wednesday night.

Officials say they were called out to Oatland Road for a report of shots fired just before 9:30 p.m.

Officers arrived and located evidence to confirm shots were fired, according to a spokesperson.

No victims were found at the scene. The incident is currently under investigation.
