Deputies investigating club shooting involving security guards

DORCHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (WCIV) -- Dorchester County deputies are investigating a shooting involving two men and security guards at a North Charleston club, according to an incident report.

Dorchester County deputies responded to Club Rehab on Dorchester Road at about 3 a.m., the report states.

According to the report, the security guards heard shots and went out to the parking lot with their weapons drawn to look for the shooters.

The guards saw two men standing near a vehicle and noticed one of them had a gun in his hand, the report states.

The guards asked the man to drop his weapon and when he refused, the guards started shooting, according to the report.

Deputies said the man was taken to MUSC for medical treatment. His condition has not been released.

A second victim told deputies he had a bullet graze wound on his leg but refused treatment, the report states.

No charges have been filed.
