Deputies looking for forgery, burglary suspect in Hilton Head

HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. (WCIV) -- Beaufort County deputies are looking for a man wanted in a series of crimes committed on Hilton Head Island in the last months.{}

According to deputies, 33-year-old Williams Morriszie Fuller is wanted on three counts of forgery, one count of shoplifting, and one count of second-degree attempted burglary.{}

Deputies say between Dec. 11 and 13, Fuller forced three checks allegedly stolen from the home of someone he knew. Each of the checks was made out to Fuller and totaled more than $1,500.{}

A month later, deputies say they caught Fuller on surveillance video stealing items from a CVS on Pope Avenue. He also stole five cartons of cigarette on Jan. 12, according to deputies.{}

On Jan. 14, deputies say they spotted Fuller on more surveillance video burglarizing an automobile store on Hunter Road. Deputies say Fuller threw a rock through a window, but ran when the alarm was triggered.{}

Deputies say Fuller is known to hang out at Cordillo Courts and to ride a beach cruiser bicycle.
