Deputies release info on 4th Orangeburg burglary suspect

ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WCIV) -- Orangeburg deputies are looking for a man in connection to a burglary that happened in early June.

According to Orangeburg County Sheriff Leroy Ravenell, officers are looking for Richard Xaiver Domquie Kelly, a man Ravenell says is the final suspect wanted in a shooting and burglary that happened on June 8 at the Roosevelt Gardens.

"Jameel Malik Kelley, a female, and two children were asleep inside a residence when they woke to sounds of someone else in the apartment at approximately 4:30 a.m. Kelley fought with Quiton Darby, Alphonso Fields, and Hillard D. Pinkney and a gun was discharged striking Kelley. Kelley was driven to the hospital by a relative and friends," Ravenell said.

Four other men have already been arrested in the incident: Quiton M. Darby was arrested on June 13; Alphonso Fields was arrested on June 14; Jaleel Malik Kelley was arrested on June 17; and Hillard D. Pinkney was arrested the US Marshal Task Force in North Charleston on June 19.

Kelley was charged because he was not suppose to be in the house.

The woman and children in the home were not physically injured during the incident, Ravenell said.
