Detectives release photos in McCaffrey case, ask for public's help

CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Detectives with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office are asking for help in the case of missing mom, Gayle McCaffrey.

Pictures were released of a blue Dodge Ram pickup truck and dark blue Jeep Cherokee, belonging to Gayle and Robert McCaffrey.

Investigators are asking if anyone saw the vehicles in the early morning hours of March 18, 2012 in the area surrounding Bee's Ferry Road and Highway 61 or have any other information in the disappearance of Gayle McCaffrey contact the Charleston County Sheriff's Office at 843-202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 843-554-1111.

It has been a year since Gayle McCaffrey was reported missing from her residence, by her husband Robert McCaffrey on March 18, 2012.

Robert McCaffrey told deputies that he last saw Gayle{} McCaffrey on March{} 17, 2012, around 10:00 p.m. before he left the residence to travel to Easley, S.C.

Mrs. McCaffrey has not been seen or heard from since being reported missing. Her husband has been named a suspect but no arrests have been made.
