Domestic dispute turns into fatal stabbing
NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- North Charleston police responded to the Roper St. Francis hospital on Northwoods Blvd. for a stabbing that stemmed from a domestic dispute.
It happened early Friday morning and police say it all started at a home on Warsaw Street when 23-year-old Whitlee Richardine Jones stabbed the victim (a man) in the chest.
Police say the victim died of his injuries and they have charged Jones with murder. The coroner has identified the victim as 29-year-old Eric Lee of North Charleston. He died of single stab wound.
