      Domestic dispute call leads to drug arrests

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- Charleston police say officers were called to a domestic disturbance, but ended up arresting a couple on drug charges.

      Officers were called to an apartment at 55 Ashley Avenue, where they found Richard Robottom, 39, "hysterical, shirtless and sweating profusely," according to a news release. Officers went inside the home to talk to Nicole Walker, 42, who was crying and shaking, the news release said.

      One inside the home, police said, investigators noticed a side table with a white powdery substance on it.

      Robottom is charged with possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute within close proximity of a park. Walker is charged with possession of cocaine base with intent to distribute.
