NORTH CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) -- A $100,000 dream came true on Tuesday.

The Seacoast Living Dream Center received a housing grant for their transitional living housing project in North Charleston. The grant came from the TD Bank Foundation's 2012 "Housing For Everyone" initiative.{}

Dream Center director Sam Lesky said the money will be put to good use.{}

"A lot was donated to us and I had the thought, 'What if we put a transitional living house on it?Something to help people who might be on the streets our coming out of rehab or a situation where they would need transitional living,'" Lesky said.

The Dream Center will provide transitional housing for low-income single women and their children.{}
