Durham School Services and Teamsters started a three-day negotiation on Tuesday to avert a bus driver strike.
Officials from Charleston and Dorchester counties said Tuesday afternoon that they had no further updated from Durham or the Teamsters. As a result, the districts were planning a normal school day.
Drivers from Dorchester, Charleston and Beaufort counties have all voted to authorize a strike.
Representatives from the union said they were still "working very hard at the bargaining table," adding that a statement would be released if there were any updates.
