ECCO seeks 'Thanksgiving fixins'

MOUNT PLEASANT, S.C. (WCIV) - Thanksgiving is less than a month away, and East Cooper Community Outreach needs help stocking its shelves with all of the traditional Turkey Day goodies we sometimes take for granted.{}

ECCO is holding its annual Thanksgiving food drive to help put meals on the table for Lowcountry families who are homeless or impoverished this holiday season.{}

"We need all the Thanksgiving fixings," said Jack Little, the executive director for ECCO. "Things like cranberry sauce, stuffing mix, instant potatoes, canned vegetables - all the things that you think of when you sit down at Thanksgiving."{}

East Cooper Community Outreach is located at 1145 Six Mile Road in Mt. Pleasant. It is open and taking donations Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until Thanksgiving.
