Meet the woman behind the Elvis kiss

      CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCIV) - Have you ever seen the iconic picture of Elvis and "the woman"? {}Its the black and white photo of him kissing a mystery woman in the stairwell? {}

      Well that woman's name is Barbara Gray and the local woman is telling the story of kissing the rock and roll legend to all!{} Walter LeCroy, owner of Imaging Arts and Rock and Read Books has announced the opening of a very special exhibit, highlighting that photo of Gray. {}Its called Elvis Mystery Kiss: From Charleston With Love and will feature a number of photographs taken from Alfred Wertheimer's portfolio of Elvis's kiss with Gray. {}Gray will be on hand to sign prints of the iconic photo for those that come through the shop. {}

      The prints will be packaged in a deluxe slip-case with a hardcover first edition of Baby Lets Play House: Elvis Presley and the Women Who Loved Him by Alanna Nash.{} Nash is the journalist who solved the 55-year old photographic mystery and will be present for the book signings.{} A limited number of signed books and prints are available for purchase. {}
